The Ministry of Health (MOH) has informed the media that as of February 25, 2022, four more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,220.

Guyana has also recorded an additional 35 cases, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 62,891 from 538,535.
There are 12 persons in the ICU, 30 in institutional isolation, 702 in home isolation, and 12 in institutional quarantine.
Some 60, 929 have recovered to date.
