A 34-year-old unvaccinated, Region Six woman is Guyana’s latest COVID-19 fatality. The death count now stands at 1,224.
Guyana has also recorded 14 new cases, taking confirmed infections from March 2020 to 63,090 from 548,185 tests.
There are four patients in the ICU, 16 in institutional isolation, 228 in home isolation, and 16 in institutional quarantine.
So far, 61,618 persons have recovered.
