On Monday afternoon, Health Minister, Dr Frank Anthony along with the Local Government and Regional Development Minister, Nigel Dharamlall, commissioned a state-of-the-art health facility at Suddie, Pomeroon-Supenaam- Region Two.
The outpatient facility will be utilised by health workers to treat patients requiring care and treatment for Tuberculosis (TB) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/ Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
The Chest Clinic’s commissioning comes a few weeks shy of a year since a similar facility was opened in Port Mourant, Berbice. (Ministry of Health photos)
