The Mayor and Councillors of the City of Georgetown will be conducting a sanitization and cleaning exercise at the Bourda Market and its immediate environs on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 7 am (07:00 hours).
The Guyana fire service will be washing the area, and the Public Health department will be sanitizing after the Fire service would have conclude their exercise.
The Town Clerk (ag) and other senior staff will be participating in this exercise.
NB: no vending will be allowed in these areas. They will be closed to facilitate this exercise.
