President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali was earlier this morning regaled by the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Military Band in a simple ceremony held at State House to commemorate his birthday.
A large Portrait was presented to President Ali by Deputy Commissioner Administration (ag.) Calvin Brutus on behalf of the Commissioner of Police (ag) and all members of the GPF.
Brutus wished the President well and thanked him for being an inspiration to all through his ‘One Guyana’ initiative.
Deputy Commissioner Operations (ag.) Ravindradat Budhram also presented the Head of State with copies of the Annual Police Officers’ Conference 2022 Magazine, and also extended best wishes to the President.
President Ali, in brief remarks, noted that his greatest wish for his birthday is for Guyana “to be in good health and bring us together so that we can unite as a family.”
President Ali also expressed gratitude to the entire Guyana Police Force and thanked the Senior Officers and other ranks present at State House for their kind sentiments and birthday wishes.
