Two carpenters, ages 25 and 19, are wanted by police for the attempted murder of 27-year-old Kemraj Ramcharran, a gas station pump attendant of Winsor Castle Essequibo Coast.
Cops are looking for 25-year-old Ron Combermack and 19-year-old Junior Seferino, both of Henrietta, Essequibo Coast.
According to reports, at 21:00hrs, Ramcharran was working at the Riffee Gas Station in Henrietta, when he got into an argument with a driver over a gas tank.
The driver of the car drove away and at about 45 minutes later, the car returned to the gas station and two males who were armed with a piece of wood and a cutlass, exited the car and dealt the Ramcharran several lashes and chop to his head and about his body.
Ramcharran fell to the ground after which the two men made good their escape.
He was picked up in a conscious state and taken to the Suddie Public Hospital, where he was admitted. His condition is regarded as serious.
Checks were made for the car and occupants but they were not located. Investigations are ongoing.
