Durant Fredericks, a 46-year-old unemployed resident of Block 8, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was charged on Tuesday with two counts of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #2 before Her Worship Ms. Liverpool, where the charges were read to him. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three months imprisonment. He was also fined $30,000.
