Stephen Vaughn, a 65-year-old pensioner, was hauled before the court on Wednesday for possession of 19.6 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Vaughn appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam, where he pleaded guilty. The defendant was subsequently placed on a $28,000 fine or one-month imprisonment.
Vaughn was busted on Sunday, February 26th, 2023, at Queenstown, Essequibo Coast.
