Runda Emanuel, a 33-year-old housewife from Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, has been charged with the offence of felonious wounding committed against Sonya Moses, a 21-year-old housewife from the same area.
The incident occurred on November 3, 2022, in Queenstown, and the charge was laid under Section 57(a) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01.
Emanuel appeared before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court, where she pleaded not guilty to the charge. The magistrate granted her bail in the amount of $30,000.
The case has been postponed to April 4, 2023.
