The man who allegedly knifed his wife to death at a city hotel last week, has been charged with murder. Junior Halley, a 52-year-old vendor of Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on May 5, 2023.
The accused appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #2 before Magistrate A. George, where the charge was read to him.
He was not required to plea and was remanded to prison. The case was postponed to June 22nd 2023.
Halley allegedly murdered his wife at the Alpha Hotel, Ogle Public Road. A total of 13 stab wounds were noticed on the body of Kim Halley, 46. Her throat was also reportedly slashed.
