Kester Gilkes, a 29-year-old Taxi Driver of Lot 227 Blue Berry Hill, Linden, appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court on Thursday before Magistrate Crystal Lambert, where he was charged with possession of narcotics for trafficking.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison until June 22, 2023. Gilkes was reportedly busted with over 2 lbs of marijuana last Tuesday at Sherima, Region Seven during a police operation.
