An East Coast Demerara man who was wanted for felonious wounding, was on Wednesday arrested at the Bartica Stelling about 09:45hrs. Following a search of the suspect, cops found an unlicensed .32 pistol in his possession.
The man, 34-year-old Michael Isaacs of Dazzel Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara, was told of the offence, cautioned and admitted to ownership of the said firearm.
He remains in custody at the Bartica Police Station pending charges for both matters.
