A 60-year-old Essequibo businessman who is accused of raping a 13-year-old child has turned himself into Police in Regional Division Two.
Around 11:37 hrs today, the suspect turned himself into the police, accompanied by a lawyer.
Since all other aspects of the investigation have been completed, the police will now complete the file and send for legal advice.
