President, Dr. Irfaan Ali recently revealed his plans to develop 30 acres of land which will be rented to businesses in need of space to store heavy machinery.
The Head of State said, “I have had enough letters since this year commenced from persons looking for two and five-acre plots to park their heavy machinery.”
In response, Ali said he is going with the US model, which will see land being developed on the highway between Ogle and Eccles and then rented to businesses. He said, “We don’t have the luxury of land to give two acres in every corner for persons to have their own parking lot…” hence, this latest development will be aggressively pursued this year.
Ali also assured that the requisite security mechanisms will be put in place for this project.
