Her business partner, Michael Sampson, is a tech enthusiast with a flair for creativity and innovation. In fact, he is a professional Software Developer.

In an exclusive interview with Guyana Standard, the dynamic duo revealed that the idea for their now-popular business stemmed from their personal cocktail dates.

“Our cocktail dates inspired this business, where we met to mix drinks. As we sat and thought about a project that we could work on together, which people would also enjoy, this business idea came to mind,” they shared.

After conceptualizing the business, the pair dedicated time to honing their skills, experimenting with mixing and tasting drinks.

“We intend to earn professional certificates in this trade to better understand the art of cocktails and mocktails. We stay motivated by remembering the goals we have set out for our business and our lives,” they explained.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, Infuzed GY is primarily a cocktail business offering unique cocktail packages that allow customers to create their own drinks at home. Whether you’re a seasoned cocktail lover or a casual drink enthusiast, Infuzed GY has something special to offer.

Having been operational for almost a year, the duo expressed gratitude for the positive reception their business has received, particularly at events where they sell their cocktails.

“It acts as a promotional adventure, and people enjoy our drinks. However, we are only a few months into this business and still have a long way to go in terms of customer outreach,” they noted.

Among their notable achievements this year, the entrepreneurs highlighted attending five exhibition events, which have provided invaluable learning experiences and helped them progress in building their mobile bar.

When asked about the challenges they’ve faced, they admitted that adapting to the diverse environments of various events has been their greatest test.

“Each event attracts a unique audience, each with its own expectations and perspectives, requiring us to continually refine and tailor our approach,” they explained.

The duo sees these challenges as stepping stones, propelling them closer to achieving their long-term vision. Looking ahead, they hope to establish a dedicated space where customers can conveniently purchase drinks and complementary supplies.
