Blazon Hotels has partnered with Enso Innovations Inc. to develop a sustainable luxury hotel in Georgetown. This project, supported by Caribbean Marketing Enterprises Inc. (CMEI), will utilize innovative Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) technology sourced from responsibly managed Canadian forests, marking a significant move towards eco-conscious luxury.

Blazon Hotels, known for its portfolio of luxury properties across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, is renowned for blending sophisticated hospitality with sustainability.

In a statement, it was disclosed that the partnership with Enso Innovations, a Toronto-based leader in sustainable construction, is set to raise the bar for luxury and environmental stewardship in the region.

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the evolution of sustainable luxury hospitality,” said Joshua Dias, Founder & CEO of Enso Innovations and Global VP Development for Smart Hospitality Solutions (SHS).

Dias added, “By utilizing Mass Timber construction, we are creating a property that not only enhances Georgetown’s skyline but also aligns with global sustainability objectives. This hotel will meet the needs of global leaders, business executives, and discerning travelers, while supporting Guyana’s burgeoning economy.”

The project will be designed by the architectural firm M|L Muller Diseño Arquitectonico and promises to combine world-class design with an eco-friendly construction approach. CLT, a revolutionary material, will help reduce the environmental impact while maintaining high standards of luxury and quality.

Blazon said that as Guyana’s economy continues to grow rapidly, the demand for premium accommodations has never been higher. The new hotel will feature luxurious guest rooms, signature dining experiences, and state-of-the-art facilities for diplomats, business leaders, and leisure travelers alike.

“Digital transformation is not just a strategy—it is our commitment to ensuring seamless, efficient, and secure banking for our customers. Our advancements in AI, mobile banking, and customer-centric innovations position us as a forward-thinking financial institution,” Dias added.
