Prominent businessman and owner of RK’s Security, Roshan Khan said that he was “interviewed” by U.S. authorities at JFK Airport when he arrived there recently.

In a Facebook post, Khan said that the questions were entirely focused on whether he knew of Azzruddin Mohamed and Nazar Mohamed. He added that the interview was conducted in an “extremely professional manner”.

“At no point was I detained or arrested. Additionally, my phone was never confiscated.”

Khan said that he made the post to set the record straight in response to several comments circulation on social media alleging his involvement in serious “criminal matters”.

Khan said that he has the utmost respect for the United States, their rule of law, and its institutions. He added that the country has every right to question individuals entering their country as part of their national security protocols.

However, he noted that any statements or implications suggesting his involvement in human trafficking, drug trafficking, or gold smuggling are completely false, reckless, and libelous.

“I urge members of the public and the media to refrain from spreading misinformation. Always seek the facts before making or sharing damaging and defamatory allegations. My legal team has been instructed to take appropriate action against any parties who continue to publish or promote these falsehoods,” he warned.

He concluded, “Let us all seek peace, truth, and justice. This is not the time for hysteria or division.”
