Please be advised that the National Park is temporarily closed until further notice as there seems to have been an invasion of bees.
The Protected Areas Commission (PAC) said that it is working “feverishly to investigate and have this mattered sorted as soon as possible”.
According to the PAC’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Malika Ramsey, “the decision to close is to ensure that all patrons and citizens are safe and unharmed.”
She added that the bee experts have been contacted and will work to ensure the park is reopened soonest.
