Hamlet Da Silva, who was tested positive for the noval Corona Virus, was nabbed minutes ago in Bonfim, Brazil, after escaping from the Lethem Regional Hospital, Region Nine early this morning.
Guyana Standard has been informed that Da Silva, who is a citizen of both Guyana and Brazil was arrested by the police in Brazil after crossing the border illegally.
He was taken to a hospital in Bonfim. It is unclear if he will continue his treatment in that country or he will be returned to Guyana.
