Yesterday, a 26-year-old farmer was taken before the Springlands Magistrate’s Court on two counts of robbery under arms and two counts of simple larceny charges.
Symeon Lynch of Lot 39 Hazel Street, Springlands, Corriverton, Region Six appeared before Magistrate Alex Moore and denied the charges.
It is alleged that on October 28, 2020, at the National Insurance Scheme, he robbed three security guards of their belongings.
The court heard that the suspect relieved the trio of their cell phones, and a .38 revolver with five matching rounds.
The farmer was released on $70,000 on each robbery under arms charge and $30,000 each on the simple larceny charge. He is expected to return to court on January 2, 2021.
