The decomposed body of 60-year-old Wesley Torrington – a Medical Doctor of 54 Marigold Street, Roxanne Burnham Garden was found today in his home.
The man’s motionless body was discovered at about 12:00 hrs this morning. Guyana Standard understands that he is the Associate Dean of the Lincoln American University (LAU).
Reports are that he was last seen alive on Monday and no one has heard from him since.
When Guyana Standard visited the scene, a neighbour told this publication that she heard from Torrington on Monday where he disclosed that he was not feeling well.
However, after he did not join any virtual classes from the University, it raised some suspicion and a coworker went to visit him today and made the discovery.
His body is presently at the Lyken Funeral Home awaiting a Post Mortem Examination. Nevertheless, an investigation into his cause of death is ongoing.
