An 18-year-old boy was today charged with the offence of assault with intent to commit a robbery perpetrated on Slevin Hercules, a taxi driver of Central Amelia’s Ward Linden.
Elmont Edwards of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Wismar, Linden, Region 10 appeared before Her Worship Wanda Fortune in the Linden Magistrate’s Court and denied the charge when it was read to him.
The incident occurred on December 11, 2020, at 3rd Phase Amelia’s Ward Linden. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $75,000.
Her Worship Fortune adjourned the case until February 24, 2021, for report and fixture. Attorney-at-Law Yondessa Welcome represented him.
