Guyana has recorded 34 new cases of the Coronavirus Disease within the last 24 hours. These new cases were discovered from 262 tests done within the same period.
The Health Ministry has also reported that some 175 persons would have succumbed to the virus since March 2020. Recoveries stand at 6488.
There are currently six persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with 49 in institutional isolation, 11 in institutional quarantine, and 663 in home isolation.
To date, some 47,358 tests have been conducted.

According to the Pan-American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation (PAHO/WHO), the number of confirmed cases worldwide stands at 99,864,391 with 2,149,700 deaths.
