The Government of Guyana is looking to have all its citizens vaccinated for protection against the deadly COVID-19 by the end of this year.
Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo made this known during his presser today.
He regarded this initiative as a priority of the government.
Jagdeo told the media that vaccination of every citizen will be quite an expensive endeavour and will take alot of effort “but we have to do it. So all efforts will be made in that regard.”
The Vice President was keen to note that vaccination will not be mandatory.
