The Central Islamic Organization of Guyana hosted a Medical Outreach for the General Public at the Chateau Margot Primary School on the 30th of May, 2021.

The services offered by the team at the Outreach were Blood Pressure and Glucose Testing, HIV and STI Testing, Blood Donation Drive, First Aid Training, General Medical Checkups, ECG, Covid-19 Vaccination, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture Therapy along the Dispensation of Medication.

Along with the Medical Services, the public was able to obtain a wide range of packages that catered for their daily needs and included Food Items, Hair Care Products, Children’s Pampers, Women Sanitary Products, clothing, and footwear.

The CIOG extends heartfelt gratitude to the many voluntary organizations, medical persons, and members of the general public for their collaboration and kind support in making this event a very successful one. These profound persons and organizations are:

“Our esteem thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses, and the entire medical team who gave their time and services voluntarily for this humanitarian outreach which was able to assist over 250 persons from the surrounding communities. The entire team combined their best efforts in assisting with the needs of the public and the CIOG thanks all for their efforts and sacrifices they made. We pray that God Almighty richly reward all those who were involved in this humanitarian outreach and we pray for blessings for those who were seeking medical assistance with lifelong good health,” the Management of the CIOG said.
