Wanda Patricia Wilson, 56, of Kara Kara, Linden, was found dead in her bedroom yesterday. Her son, Hosia Ajadai is in police custody. He is being treated as a suspect, police say.
An eyewitness reported to the police that he was called to make checks on the woman and her son, and on arrival, he met Ajadai sitting in a ransacked home.
He suspected that something was amiss and made a report to the McKenzie Police Station.
Police ranks found Wilson’s body in a bedroom on a bed with a door on top of her. Her head and face appeared to be smashed in, the police said.
The body was escorted to the Linden Hospital Complex and subsequently escorted to the Pensioner Funeral Home.
