A 79-year-old, Region Four man is the country’s 417th COVID-19 fatality. He died while receiving care at a medical facility.
Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases continues to increase with the addition of 134 infections, taking the total since March 2020 to 17,939.
There are now 20 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 99 in institutional isolation, 1,566 in home isolation and four in institutional quarantine.
Some 15, 837 persons have recovered to date.
