Health Minister, Dr Frank Anthony says that some 228,337 Guyanese have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines. This represents 46.9% of the country’s adult population. Meanwhile, 99,764 (20.5% of adult population) have received both doses, making them fully vaccinated against a severe form of the virus.

Region Six – 54.7%

Region Eight – 31.1%
