Police are investigating a Robbery Under Arms committed this morning at Leopold Street, Georgetown by two men on a 46-year-old man.
The victim was robbed of one silver Toyota Fielder wagon, motorcar PZZ 7156 valued at $2.8M, one iPhone valued at $80,000, a silver chain worth $45,000, and a silver band valued at $28,000.
Initial investigations revealed that the victim was driving west along Leopold street when he saw a white Mazda motor car parked in the middle of Leopold Street facing east preventing him from proceeding further.
The two suspects then exited the back passenger seat of the car and walked up to the victim who was in his car seated.
The suspect pointed a gun at the victim’s head and demanded him to exit the car. The other suspect, who was armed with the knife, began to search the victim’s pockets and took away the phone and jewelry he was wearing at the time.
They then entered the victim’s car while the Mazda motorcar reversed, giving the suspects a clear path to escape.
