Following the issuance of a wanted bulletin for a teen in connection with the murder of Haresh Singh, the lad has since turned himself into law enforcement officers.

The lad is a family member of slain teenager, Isaiah Henry, whose mutilated body and his cousin’s were found aback at a coconut farm at West Coast Berbice on September 6, 2020.

However, on Wednesday, three persons were arrested, where they detailed what transpired.

One of the suspects confessed that the teen was killed as revenge for Isiah’s murder.

The suspect told investigators that after the Henry boys’ bodies were found, he was informed that Singh’s relatives were the ones behind Isiah’s death and as such, the suspect vowed to ensure that they pay.

The three suspects then went to Singh’s home and threatened family members – the 17-year-old was not at home at the time.

However, the three suspects went to No. 3 Village where they saw Singh. They stopped him and demanded that he disembarked his motorcycle, but Singh refused.

As a result, one of the suspects allegedly grabbed Singh and dealt him several blows to the head with a piece of wood.

Singh subsequently died and his motorcycle was set afire. The three men are expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow.

Seventeen-year-old Singh, also known as ‘Raj’, of Lot 8, Number 3 Village, WCB was found with head injuries and chop wounds along the Number 2 backdam on September 9th, 2020 – three days after the severely mutilated remains of 16-year-old Isaiah and Joel Henry, 19, were found aback the Cotton Tree Village.

Singh was related to one of the suspects, who was in police custody for murdering the Henry cousins.

The post-mortem examination performed on the teen by Government Pathologist, Dr Nehaul Singh, revealed the cause of death to be brain hemorrhage and blunt trauma to the head, compounded by compression injuries to the neck.
