Public transportation operators are required to be fully vaccinated, the Health Ministry says.
These operators include minibus drivers, taxi and speedboat operators. The new rule takes effect from August 1.
The order states: “every operator and conductor of any transportation service shall be vaccinated and have in their possession an official identification document and their vaccination card and shall produce these documents when requested to by a Police officer or any person authorized by the Minister of Health.”
Meanwhile, casinos, betting shops, and cinemas may operate but only at 40% capacity of the building or scaling area. The operator of the casino betting shop or Cinema must ensure that only vaccinated patrons are at their place of business and those patrons have in their possession an official identification document and their vaccination card which they must produce when requested to do so by the operator or any person authorized by the Ministry of Health.
Additionally, concessions stands are prohibited.
