A 64-year-old woman was raped and robbed today in Region Six, police say.
The 42-year-old suspect allegedly robbed the victim of $200,000 and raped her.
Subsequently, the Guyana Police Force arrested the suspect at his home where some of the cash was recovered.
Investigation is in progress.
