Gangadai Rhajcoomar, a 35-year-old domestic worker of Coverden, East Bank Demerara, was charged yesterday for the offence of Child Stealing contrary to Section 90 (a) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01, at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court.
She appeared before Magistrate Ali Seepaul and the charge was read to her. She was not required to plea, hence she was remanded to prison.
The matter was postponed to 7th October 2021 for report.
