A search conducted by ranks of the Joint Services at the New Amsterdam male and female Prison Quarters, has resulted in the discovery and seizure of a number of prohibited items; including cellular phones and improvised weapons.
The following articles were found: 15 cellular phones, 12 lighters, 11 pieces of broken mirrors, nine improvised weapons, a cellular phone battery, 10 chargers, four metal spoons, $580 and a quantity of razor blades.
