The Ministry of Health (MOH) has informed that one more person, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 610.
The latest fatality is one 81-year-old male from Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara ) who died while receiving care at a medical facility.
Meanwhile, Guyana has recorded an additional 180 cases of the virus, taking the number of infections since March 2020 to 25,147.
