A post-mortem examination was done today on the bodies of Recht- Door-zee couple, 36-year-old Camele Robertson- Rodrigues and 46-year-old Rollins Rodrigues also known as “Rawl”.
The bodies were identified to Doctor Nehaul Singh by their respective families.
Upon completion, Dr. Singh gave the cause of death of the man as hanging and pesticides poisoning, while the woman’s death was given as multiple incised wounds (four), compounded by blunt trauma to the head.
The bodies were handed over to the respective relatives for funeral arrangements.
Both husband and wife were found dead in their West Bank Demerara home last Wednesday.
Camele Robertson- Rodrigues was found on the bed while her husband was found hanging from the rafters. Police are treating the matter as a murder/suicide,
Guyana Standard understands that the couple was together for seven years.
