A Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Lance Corporal is in police custody for sexual activity with a 14-year-old, Region One girl.
A preliminary investigation into the matter revealed that the victim and suspect shared a relationship for about one year, the Guyana Police Force said today. The matter was reported yesterday and the suspect was arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
