The Ministry of Health disclosed today that a fully vaccinated 58-year-old woman from East Berbice, Corentyne is the country’s latest COVID-19 fatality. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 942.
Statistics provided via its latest dashboard also show that 101 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded, thereby taking the number of confirmed cases to 36,180.
Guyana Standard has also noted that Region Four continues to hold the highest number of cases with 17,149 recorded up to the time of publication.
