Former Assistant Commissioner of Police Christopher Griffith has passed away.
Griffith who joined the Guyana Police Force in 1981, served in several divisions and branches. He held various portfolios including Divisional Detective Officer (DDO) ‘D’ Division and Court Prosecutor. He also served as the Commander of the then C, D and G Divisions. He retired as Assistant Commissioner Operations’ in 2017 after 36 years of service.
The Commissioner of Police, Officers and Other Ranks of the Guyana Police Force today extended sincere condolences to his wife Fayann, children and other family members on his passing.
