The Ministry of Health (MOH) has informed that as of December 13, 2021, three more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1023.

Guyana also recorded 14 new cases, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 38,568. There are 12 patients housed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 40 in institutional isolation, 802 in home isolation, and four in institutional quarantine.
