The nude body of a man that was found at the De Hoop Public Road, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD) last Thursday has been identified as a Lusigan, ECD resident.
The body is that of 43-year-old Neville Parbhu called ‘Plunga’.
Parbhu, according to his cousins, was of unsound mind and “would walk all over”.
Guyana Standard understands that he left home earlier this month but did not return. His cousins did not make a report because it is a “normal routine” for Parbhu to go missing for weeks.
Parbhu’s body was found naked with what appeared to be a gaping wound to his forehead with bruises about his body.
