Two Foreign Nationals were brought before a city court to be extradited to the United States of America where they will answer to a number of sexual assault charges.
Karrem Abdool hack and Julian Yhip were brought before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts. The men who are wanted by authorities in the US for a number of charges were nabbed following the issuing of the arrest warrants.
Hack and Yhip told the court that they are aware of the charges and asked for bail. Yhip told the court that he wants to spend the time with his 16-days-old daughter.
He further said that he will not contest the charge.
He added that he was previously charged in the US.
The State prosecutor made a request to the court for the men to be denied bail until the hearing for the expedition is completed. The men were remanded until February 8.
