A 66-year-old, unvaccinated Region Three woman is Guyana’s 1182nd COVID-19 fatality.
Guyana has also recorded 16 new cases, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 61,616 from 517,815 tests. There are 17 persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 111 in institutional isolation, 5,242 in home isolation, and 27 in institutional quarantine.
So far, 55,064 persons have recovered.
