The Police Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) is conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding an incident that occurred on February 10, 2022, at Orinduik, in Regional Police Division 8, where a Police Constable is reported to have physically assaulted a 35-year-old male resident of Kurukabaru.
The victim, who is reported to be living with disabilities, has visible signs of injuries and has received medical assistance from a Medex.
The Police Constable involved has been placed under close arrest as the investigations continue.
