Police in Region 3 have reported that on March 02, 2022, about 16:40hrs they received a call from an unknown person stating that a man was seen lying motionless on the Meten-Meer-Zorg Public Road, West Coast Demerara.
Upon responding to the report, ranks observed a man, about 60 years of age, lying facedown and motionless.
He was escorted to the Leonora Cottage Hospital, where he was examined by a doctor on duty and pronounced dead.
No marks of violence were seen, hence he was taken to the Ezekiel Funeral Home awaiting identification and a post-mortem examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
