The Private Sector Commission (PSC) was pleased to announce on Tuesday that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gaico Construction and General Services Inc, Komal Singh has been selected to serve as its Chairman.
The business advocacy group said Mr. Ryan Alexander was re-elected to serve as Vice Chairman, while Paul Cheong (the immediate past president) will serve as Honorary Secretary.
Guyana Standard understands that Haimwant Persaud was elected to be the commission’s Treasurer while Dr. Natasha Gaskin-Peters will serve as Corporate Coordinator.
The new board was announced as part of the commission’s 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Tuesday at the Marriott Hotel. The new members will serve for the period 2023-2024.
The commission in a statement to the press said it intends to continue being the leading advocate for the private sector on national issues in an effort to promote socio-economic growth and development.
