Ted Edwards, a 23-year-old Security Guard from Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was charged on Wednesday with discharging a loaded firearm with intent.
The act was allegedly committed on a 10-year-old boy on April 15, 2023, at the Red Sun Chinese Supermarket at Grove Public Road, East Bank Demerara. The accused appeared at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates Court 2 today before Magistrate Judy Latchman where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to May 10, 2023, for statements.
