In a recent hearing at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court, 52-year-old Ramesh Ramlakhan, also known as “Rambo,” pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics. The accused was apprehended on May 28, 2023, and formally charged on May 30, 2023, by officers from the Enmore Police Station.
Ramlakhan stood before Magistrate Fabayo Azore as the charge was read out to him. Without contesting the allegations, he entered a guilty plea. Consequently, the magistrate imposed a fine of $5,000 and sentenced Ramlakhan to two months of community service.
