In an effort to ensure all polling stations during the Local Government Elections remains unhindered and incident-free, Top Cop Clifton Hicken, Deputy Commissioner of ‘Administration’ Calvin Brutus, along with Deputy Commissioner of ‘Operations’, Ravindradat Budhram visited various polling stations.
Those stations visited thus far were in the Municipality of Georgetown: St John Association of Guyana, St. John College, Bishops’ High School, and St. Barnabas Special School.
To supplement the current strength and to ensure a smooth voting process countrywide, ranks were deployed to the various polling stations across the country.
Throughout the day, the Top Cop and his team will be on the ground as part of their monitoring plans.
