MODEC Guyana, the builder of the Errea Wittu floating production and offloading storage (FPSO) vessel to be used in ExxonMobil’s fifth development offshore, is already gearing up for the International Energy Conference and Exhibition 2024 slated for February 19 to 22.
In a Request for Information (RFI) published today, the company has taken a step forward in preparations for the highly anticipated conference outlining its need for event structure services, specifically focusing on booths to enhance their presence at this significant energy conference.
The allocated booth space measures 10ft x 10ft, and MODEC is committed to ensuring that it reflects their visual corporate identity with utmost precision.
The comprehensive list of services it requires includes complete booth wall setup, including custom cuts and floor structure, all in line with MODEC’s corporate branding, a customized backdrop to capture the essence of the company, rental of a 55″ smart TV with USB connection, rental of two 10″ tablets to engage visitors effectively, booth furniture, including TV support structure, custom columns, “ottomans” seats, and mousepads to provide attendees with valuable takeaways.
MODEC emphasized the importance of prior experience in booth planning and construction at large, similar events. Suppliers are expected to present a portfolio showcasing their previous work with visual evidence. Additionally, a recommendation letter from two clients, endorsing the quality of service provided, is considered desirable.
Companies interested in participating in this RFI process are urged to complete the necessary forms and submit them, along with the EOI (Expression of Interest) to the email address: [email protected]. The final response, complete with the RFI form and EOI, must reach MODEC no later than October 30th.
MODEC, a Japanese company is a leading owner/operator and EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) general contractor of floating production systems.
In November of last year, it signed a Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract for the ‘Errea Wittu’ project, a floating production system, which is anticipated to have an oil storage capacity of two million barrels and an oil production design rate of 250,000 barrels per day (bpd). It will source crude from three fields, namely Uaru, Mako, and Snoek, which together have a recoverable resource of 1.319 billion barrels of oil equivalent in the Stabroek Block.
